JCGS Meetings at
Ashland Public Library
410 Siskiyou Blvd
Ashland, Oregon 97520
Jefferson Classical Guitar Society meets
in the large conference room of the Ashland Public Library on
the first Tuesday of each month from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. We begin
gathering at 6:30 pm for those who like to socialize a bit .
We try to start our proceedings as close to 7:00 as possible.
The primary business of our gatherings is playing music for one
another. Our players are young and old, amateurs and professionals,
and skill levels range from beginners to advanced. Our emphasis
is on creating a welcoming and supportive environment conducive
to the performance of music for the classical guitar.
Our very first meeting was on October 5th,
2001. We have met the first Tuesday of every month since that
day. All are welcome. Come and participate or just observe. If
you are curious as to what we have been up to, check out the
link to our Archives Page at the bottom of this page.
